Employee and Contractor Training: Environmental Awareness in the Workplace
This one day environmental awareness training course is aimed at introducing the employee and contractor (ISO14 001 also regards contractors as employees for training purposes) to the environment. It has been designed using 16 modules dealing with the natural environment, human-environment interaction, environmental legal requirements, transportation, hazardous substances, emergencies, environmental management systems and environmental issues at home and in the community.
The course consists of a stimulating and colourful slide show using pictures and photographs to introduce and explain topics.
A Booklet is provided as course material, and can be used for later reference purposes.
This type of training can also be used as part of induction training. We are proud to say that Mondi Kraft is requiring all their personnel of several thousand to undergo this training.
The training course can also be presented in local languages, and is suited for training illiterate employees as pictures and photographs are used extensively. All employees are assessed to establish a measurable competence. Successful candidates receive a certificate or credit card type recognition of successful course completion.
