Green Gain has developed a proprietary Legal Compliance System, DigiLex, in compliance with all the legal requirements of ISO 14 001 and OHSAS18001. This includes legal registers, legislation database and resources database for the Environmental and Health and Safety suite as well as Aspect register (with links to legal register), audit tool (legal compliance and HSE system gap analyses), document manager and Non Conformance and corrective action manager.
Quick System Overview:
Legal Register - Provides the user with all the legal obligations pertaining to a specific aspect, as well as management information to assist with achieving legal compliance, written in layman's terms. We update our legal registers every month. We also update the links between the legal register and the aspect/hazard register.
Library - Provides full text of legislation alphabetically. Also contains commonly used resources such as apllication forms, guideline documents and other. We update the databasis ona monthly basis. The legislation is also linked to the legal register.
Aspect Manager - A matrix containing all the organisational aspects with the risk rating, legislation links to the legal register and the ability to link to client documents.
Audit Manager - Perform self audits for legal compliance and ISO 14 0001:2004 system gap anaylyses. Findings, recommendations and corrective actions can be captured and managed. Provides a report on the legal compliance of all the elements covered in the legal register, including an executive summary (statistical breakdown).
Document Manager- Provides a full DMS (Document Management System). Create your own document categories and add any document, file or photo. Link any document to the legal register or aspects or audit findings. Save you authorisations, EMP's, procedures, trainng records, monitoring results and any other type of system related type of documentation.
Home Page, Updates - A list of updates are available under the updates menu item, that is sent to all users on a monthly basis for quick reference. A list of historic updates are also available on the legal register.
Non Conformance - To ensure this is a stand alone SHEQ Management Tool, we have included a comprehensive incident management system configurable to your needs. Create your own incident types and locations. Log incidents, create corrective actions, automatic email notification, easy search facility based on status (closed, open overdue, location, incident type, time period and time of day). Print full reports.
The system is entirely interactive, and links are provided between all the sections.
